Things Emotionally Healthy People Do
The holidays are here, and for many this can be an overwhelming and difficult time. We are flooded with expectations, internally and from others. We have memories we are trying to create, and some we are trying to avoid. Even in the midst of the joy, relaxation and love of the season, we may experience a feeling that feels "off," "uncomfortable," or downright upsetting.
"Nothing can spoil this beautiful time of year more than having expectations of how you SHOULD feel and not feeling that way. Winter holidays come by the calendar, but emotions arise to help guide you through what's really going on.
